Fun at the strangest places

I recently went to the museum with a bunch of my mates. Yes about 7 15 year olds going to the museum for non-school related work... strange huh? we just randomly felt the urge to visit it. I really love this picture taken there.. mainly because it show that the museum can also be a wonderful place to party! we had so much fun looking at everything.. running (or at least fast walking cos we not supposed to run) between expeditions and taking HEAPS of pictures. SO really guys, although you may think its a dumb place to go.. it is a cheap (most likely free) option to spend a day with your mates rather than paying $$ to go shopping or teh movies! and you'll have LOTS of fun while you go along the way. Remember to take heaps of pics and tell me about them.. so i can see that Im not the only 15 year old around that goes to the museum! hahaha

birthday

it was my 15th yesterday. ! :)
cant wait to drive. ill put some pictures up from the part im having this sunday next week.

Note: Thoughts on Editing Pictures

I perfer not to edit photos. So just letting everyone know that 90% of the time my photographs aren't edited because i feel that it takes away too much of the real meaning when they are edited to much. however, if I ever do edit them.. I wll mention this in my post :)

Burning Photographs

Here are a few more of my own photographs. These are so amazing (and I'm not just saying that because i took them!) I mean.. anyone could get a photo like this if they are capable of pressing the button on the camera down..

what i find so amazing about them.. is the whole feel to it. the burning sensation flitering off the page. The hotness that you get all over your body just by looking at them. And then the photo of our silloettes in front of the bon fire. To think we were standing that close. Its the kind of photos that make you feel like you were right there beside me as i took it. To be there.. feeling the same enviroment that i'm feeling. Breathing the same air.. being so close. They all send across that same feeling. And I really bealive thats the true beauty of photography. =)

a new drink ?

Here is a picture taken of me and my cousin in Paeroa, New Zealand. Seriously, if you dont live here.. you need to make it your goal one day to come over and try L&P. (lemon & paeroa). it is the nicest fizzy drink ever... (not including nergy drinks, ok? because V would have to top that). L&P originated in the small town of Paero in the north island of New Zealand. Believe me, you need to try it sometime. :)

winter

The weather is just so cold these days. But don't let that stop you from having fun. My inspiration to get throught these cold, wet months is around me. I just look around and find something to inspire me to create something, leanr something new, look at a picture and i instantly feel better. DIY projects on a wet weeked.. ok totally not my thing. But I still try..! I should at leats get points for that.. dont you think?

here's a picture that I took during the summer. Its my inspiration to get out and do something these wet months... beacuse sooner or later.. summer will come back around the corner! YAY!.

and now.. it all just a matter of waiting for that time to come... :)

a hidden story within

I found these photographs on the Internet a couple of days ago...

and instantly fell in love with them. The angles, the lighting, the models, the colour..

everything. It's not just about the clothing the models are wearing. It is communicating so much more than that. How do they do it?! I feel like the photographer is sharing a story with me.. something deeper than just the initial glance at the picture. It's inspiring.

I'm gonna post up some of my own photographs I've taken and I want to try and get as many responses back about them (I'll welcome both good and bad!) to see what you guys think. I want to be able to portray something deeper just like these ones do.

Memories

Friends and photography. The two just go hand in hand. Grab a camera, a couple of mates, an awesome stash of unique fun clothes and find a beautiful place to shoot. Make each other look gorgeous and you've got memories to keep forever. Go make some now :)

Getting Out of Lifes Depressing Holes

Life can be so hard sometimes. Friend problems, peer pressure, parents, siblings, school. The life of a teenager is so confusing, yet it is said to be one of the most enjoyable chapters of your life. Myself, as a teenager, struggle daily with the typical problems. You get tired eaisly. Feel down. Can't be bothered moving or doing anything. The point is that you can't be on super high ALL the time. Wouldn't you get a little bored? Being super happy should be something you experince and then this is followed by a low period. This happens because when your in your 'feeling low' mode you can always think that it really can't be THAT bad, because a happy moment could be waiting just around the corner! That's what I need to be telling myself at the moment and I'm sure I'll be out of this hole in no time. Smile :)
